As healers we may sometimes feel we have ‘failed’ if our clients fail to make obvious progress. It is important for us to remember that our role is only to offer healing, to aid the person on their path if they seek it, but we should never try to force it upon them.
At a deeper level we can plant the seeds of transformation but those seeds sometimes need time to germinate.
It is good to bear in mind that some people may have secondary gains by remaining unwell, for example: they feel they get more attention from those around them and commonly they also have less responsibilities.
