Recovering from a breakup or divorce

Breaking up from a serious relationship, can be devastating and recovering from it can be a treacherously difficult road. Sometimes people are n’t able to recover easily. Many, although appearing to be over it, still carry the pain with them and can continue to carry the fear of getting close to a partner again.

Whilst there may be many suggestions to be found, here are some ways to help you through this time so you can recover and get your life back on track – enabling you to look forward to brighter future.

1. Allow yourself to grieve deeply and completely.  Many of us can be fearful of the darker feelings - such as sadness, depression or anger. Don’t be afraid to
recognise these feelings. I know their intensity may make you feel like they will grip your soul forever. An important point to remember and trust is that these feelings, although strong, won't last forever. Nor will they destroy or damage you. As a matter of fact, you will be in a better place emotionally once you have worked through them and set them free. You are a child of the Universe and you are not alone... ask for support and it will be given.

2. Acknowledge your grief for the future you thought your relationship once had. When people make a commitment to each other, many dreams and hopes are created. These are not easy or simple to let go of, as we use our hopes and dreams to guide our future. Consider the dreams and hopes you had in your relationship - then deliberately and separately grieve for each one. Know that your dreams and hopes are not dead. You will recreate them again with or without someone else. Keep the faith.
3. Spend time with the people in your life who know how to listen to your feelings with complete love and acceptance. During recovery from a breakup or any devastating loss it is critical for you to be allowed to speak your mind as often as you need to. Many people are uncomfortable listening to other peoples sad and sombre emotions as they may be afraid of being overtaken by them. This is the reason why seemingly loving, caring people often try to solve our problems for us or "fix" us when we share our painful feelings. It's important that you are not interrupted or given advice as speaking and/or talking it out is a large part of how you heal. You are love and you are loved.
4. Do your best to understand what happened in the relationship.  For you to be able to come to terms with the breakup and to move on to creating a wonderful life, you need to understand what happened to cause it. This is where you will have to be extremely honest with yourself. It does you no good to blame your ex or yourself. You need to clearly understand the dynamic you both created together and clearly trace the threads of the events that led to the animosity or the cooling off within the relationship. We are all learning here....

5. Understand why you chose your former partner. We choose relationships for many different reasons, the most popular being "love." But what many consider to be "in love" is not really love at all. Here are some of the reasons why people choose each other:
·         A deep need to be wanted
·         A lifelong struggle to meet someone and "save" them or "change" them
·         The fear of being alone
·         An infatuation
·         Material security
·         For the good of the children
If you can openly and honestly examine and understand why you chose your partner you most likely will be able to see the beginnings of the breakup at the start of the relationship. You will also start to build understanding which will enable you to choose differently the next time around.

6. Forgive your partner, forgive yourself. Now it is time to forgive. Understand that you and your partner did the best you could. Understand that even when you were doing things to hurt each other, it was still the best you could do at the time. Perhaps these painful actions came out of self-defense or self-preservation. Maybe they came out of revenge for the pain you were feeling the other was inflicting. Forgiveness is a sure way to free yourself and to go forward towards   a wonderful life in the future.

7. It is best to create a distance between you and your ex-partner. One thing that is so difficult about a breakup is no longer having the other person around, no longer having your best friend and confidant. It is difficult to let go of the everyday interactions and the friendship. However, if you are to fully heal, it is better for you to create between three to six months of no contact with your former partner (or as little contact as possible if you have children together). This will give you the opportunity to grieve and work through your feelings. It will also allow the relationship between you and your ex-partner to begin again (if at all) on a different footing.

8. Make the effort to create a support group. Going through a breakup means you have just lost your best friend and partner. You need to be listened to. You need to know that you are wanted and loved. For these reasons, having a support group is critical to your recovery. This group can be a religious/spiritual group, an online community or a group of friends whom you can ask to support you. Make sure they clearly know you need their support and how you need to be supported.

9. Resolve to learn everything about yourself and your relationships. If you aim to create a better relationship in the future, without repeating the same mistakes, you need to understand and examine every aspect of relationships and how you act within them. You need to know what you want in a relationship, what kind of partner would be best suited to you, what you absolutely need in order to feel satisfied, and what you absolutely will not accept.

10. Take special care of yourself during the process.  Breakup or divorce recovery is a stressful, painful and life-changing process. When we are going through fundamental life changes, we must take care great of ourselves. A good rule of thumb is to treat yourself as if you have a bit of a cold. Try to delegate or reduce your workload, eat well, exercise and get lots of rest. Adding in extras like a massage, taking a creative class, and doing activities that you consider fun will also help on the road to recovery. Take the time to be with yourself...walk in nature, go to the beach, the forest - feel nature supporting you ...
Although recovering from divorce or a breakup is not easy, you will succeed and come out of it having learnt some valuable lessons - and will be better equipped for a new and happier future. All the answers lie within you.... Have faith, believe in yourself, you will be whole again.

I send you my love and wish you total peace, harmony and fulfilment in the next phase of this life... and beyond! xxx

Chase your dreams with love and enthusiasm

Keep alive the hope in your dreams.

Hope provides the strength against giving up.
Believe in yourself. Self belief enables you to persevere. Never quit.

Allow no one to control your happiness. Take responsibility for your reactions.
Success is not what you have, but how you feel.

Your feelings are your wealth.
When things seem bad, focus on the incredible beauty around you.
All obstacles have their season and time of

passing.

Ask and you will receive.
Reach out. No one is an island.
Accept love that is offered. Love is our deepest wellspring of joy.
Chase your dreams with love and enthusiasm and allow life to meet you halfway.

Learn from mistakes and remember your dreams.
Only do that which increases your self-respect.
Self-respect allows you to feel good about life. Remember to laugh and cry. Both give balance and fullness to life.

"God Protect me from all Negative Energies"

This Prayer can be said mentally whenever you feel necessary. If you know you are going to be in a place where there are other people, it is a good idea to say this prayer before you go.

Also when you feel an attack of negative energy, whether it be from within  yourself or from outside influences.

Abhyanga Ayurveda Massage

Ayurveda is a holistic system of medicine that was developed and is widely practiced in India. The word Ayurveda means "science of life" (Ayur = Life and Veda = knowledge).
This traditional medicine is a natural healing system and the oldest in the world, its roots come from the VEDIC era , more than 5,000 years ago.
This healing system has had a strong influence on many systems of medicine, throughout history from ancient Greece in the West to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tibetan and Thai in the East.
It teaches that man is a microcosm, a universe in itself. He is the son of the external cosmic forces, the macrocosm.
Through the study of this science, anyone can acquire practical knowledge of self-healing.
One of the most important techniques is the Massage Abhyanga Ayurveda, which translated means, slathered in oil. It is highly beneficial for both our body and our spirit.
In medicine,it has served as a diagnostic, curative and preventive method.
Working on Marma points or energy centres,  mobilizing and achieving prana or vital energy.
Massages are specially designed, following a combination of movements and binding of essential oils, herbs and base oils, which have proven effectiveness.
The main role of this massage is to balance the internal energy of the person, ie vata (air), pitta (fire) and kapha (earth / water)

During a session, energy blockages are removed and the patient experiences emotional changes, and relief.

Dr. Nayana Rao is visiting Tenerife for the first time and is sharing some of her knowledge of Ayurvedic Medicine.
Thank you so much Nayana for a truly informative weekend, not only full of wonderful knowledge, but of friendship, love and peace.
Deep gratitude from myself and the whole group.
Love and Light.

SOLAR ECLIPSE / NEW MOON

Today is a solar eclipse, and depending on where you live on the planet, today or tomorrow is also new moon!
It's an ideal time for manifesting!

NB: A solar eclipse can bring up old energies and patterns, wounds and shadow aspects for healing. Be kind and compassionate with yourself and allow yourself to feel and release anything that may have surfaced in recent days as part of this enlightening and transformational process.

Now is a great time to meditate and work on "Chakra Balancing" and "Auric Healing" to clear, align and optimize your energy and integrate more love and light.
It is a favourable time for seeding and affirming both new and existing dreams. To open brighter visions and inspirations, to hold positive intentions and to write down and visualise your goals.

Try to spend some time in meditation today to focus on and visualize your dreams.

You could also write down a list of goals and 'new moon wishes' for the month and year ahead.

The sun is the heart of our solar system and when we have an eclipse the sun can aid us in shifting energy that is heavy and un-serving. We can raise ourselves to higher levels of consciousness. It heightens our awareness and brings things to light - allowing us to move forward to brighter times.

Great things can be initiated at eclipses and new moons, so the combination of both is ideal for birthing dreams and re-affirming existing ones, manifesting your heart's desires, and raising your energy to a new level (showing a new YOU).
Be more mindful of your thoughts, feelings and words you use as, at this time, manifestation is heightened.
Get yourself into an optimum state and manifest the bright beautiful dreams your heart desires.

How good can life get?
 Just dare to imagine!

HARNESSING YOUR UNTAPPED ENERGY

As a biological organism,
you always have
conscious awareness of your

physical self.

You can contract your muscles
and move around;
you can feel pain when it is
inflicted.These sensations
 reinforce a purely
non-etheric
and organic

mindset that limits a person
to
their physical thresholds

because we associate
them with purely organic processes.

There is further potential in the human body to
be tapped, but an understanding of a concept known
as the energy body is needed to take advantage of it.

The energy body is a separate entity from your
physical self, but it is also a reflection of it
in many ways. You can imagine it as a series of
conduits and channels that allow non-matter energy
to flow through you.

Every part of the physical human body has some sort
of role in the etheric structure. Some of the most
vital components of the energy body are called
energy exchange ports.

These are pore-like structures that can be found
all over the body, including a thin layer on the
skin. Their main function is to absorb and transmit
different types of energy, sort of like a network
of capillaries.

While they are spread thin on the outer layer of
the body, they are very highly concentrated in
all of the following areas:

Soles of feet
Palms
Nasal passages and lungs
Lips, mouth and tongue
Genitals

They attribute to sensitivity, which is why these
areas of the body are particularly receptive to
touch and temperature. Not only do they allow
energy to channel through you, they also serve
as detectors of outside sources of energy.

While transmission and communication is an
essential process of the energy body, it would
all go to waste if energy could not be stored
in the body for later use. There are three main
storage centers in the body that are responsible
for collecting and saving energy, and it is
important to keep them in balance lest your
overall energy levels suffer from instability.

The first main storage center is located halfway
between the belly button and the pubic line and
about two inches into the body and is responsible
for raw physical energy.

The second one can be found
at the base of the sternum
 two inches in and is
responsible for emotional energy.

The third is located in the center
of the brow two inches in
and is responsible for mental and
psychic energy.

Once you learn how to actively
fill and harness the energy stored in these
three key locations, you will need to learn
the art of balancing them to remain stable.

As a rule of thumb,

it is always safest to work
on increasing the pool of energy

located below
the belly button

that is associated with raw
vital energy.

This energy storage center is
connected to the others in such a way

that allows energy to
overflow into them naturally.

To get started with becoming aware of your
energy body and tapping into it, the first
step is to consistently trance meditate on
a regular basis. Center yourself and focus
on the natural vibrations that fill your
senses, pinpoint them and explore them.

Remember that you are never truly still,
there is a constant torrent of energy that
you can touch and feel as if it were tangible
if you can learn to effectively control your
energy body...

REIKI AND REIKI HEALING SYSTEM

THE WORD REIKI IS ACTUALLY COMPOSED OF TWO WORDS:
REI    ….. DIVINE OR UNIVERSAL
KI      ….. ENERGY
THEREFORE THE WORD REIKI ACTUALLY MEANS DIVINE OR UNIVERSAL ENERGY.

WHEN SOME PEOPLE (MANY) SAY THEY PRACTICE REIKI THEY ARE SAYING THEY PRACTICE DIVINE ENERGY BUT ALTHOUGH IT COULD BE THE CASE, THEY ARE ACTUALLY PRACTICING A HEALING SYSTEM.
PRACTITIONERS AND MASTERS OF THE REIKI HEALING SYSTEM PRACTICE A HEALING SYSTEM AND NOT A UNIVERSAL ENERGY.

THERE ARE MANY REIKI HEALING SYSTEMS TODAY, TO SUIT EVERYTONE BUT IN TERMS OF CLASSIC AND ORIGINAL METHODS THERE ARE ONLY THE JAPONESE REIKI HEALING SYSTEM ORIGINATING FROM USUI AND THE TIBETAN NATURAL REIKI HEALING SYSTEM.

WHAT IS NATURAL REIKI HEALING SYSTEM?
IT IS A PHILOSOPHY OF LIFE BASED ON REIKI PRINCIPLES AND A NATURAL SYSTEM OF CHANNELING DIVINE HEALING ENERGIES BY LAYING ON OF HANDS, FROM A DISTANCE OR PSYCHICALLY THROUGH “ESOTERIC BREATHING”.
IT IS EXTENDING THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AND IS EASY TO LEARN.

NEUROBICS, BRAIN TRAINING 10

If you drive, the next time you go to your car, close your eyes and use only your senses to begin your trip. Find your keys, unlock the door, sit inside, buckle your seatbelt and start the engine. Continue using your sense of touch and spatial memory to locate the radio and change the station, to start and shut off the windshield wipers. Having your eyes closed forces your brain to activate rarely used pathways. It also opens up opportunities for more associations such as the cold metal on the seat belt or the ridges on the keys.
PS...DONT FORGET TO OPEN YOUR EYES BEFORE YOU START DRIVING!!!!
