Be good to YOU!


When we allow life's problems to start to engulf our whole being, we can feel fearful, overwhelmed, depressed, trapped etc. We then cease to function at our optimum level. Everyone and everything around us gets effected - and not in a good way.
 So what can we do? It's so simple... Be kind to you, care for you, LOVE YOU.
That sounds so easy I know, but when times are tough we can easily forget to nurture ourselves. Think about how you would treat your best friend should she be in the same position. We would say kind words, give re-assurance, forgiveness, nurture and love that person and try to make them feel better in any way we could.
What we all tend to forget from time to time is that WE are our own best friend. No-one knows you better than you, You have been with you all your life and have experience of all your good and not so good attributes and foibles. YOU are your own best friend. So why can't we love ourselves, treat ourselves with kindness, and forgive ourselves in the same way we would our closest friend?
