SELF COMPASSION

IT IS GOOD TO TRY SIMPLE SELF/LOVE TECHNIQUES THAT OPEN UP YOUR HEART, AND REMIND YOU TO CARE ABOUT YOURSELF. This is particularly effective when you are having a hard time or being critical of yourself or others.

Throughout the day ask yourself 'What loving thing can I do to help myself right now?'
Listen to you hearts answer and follow through by doing what it says. It may be giving yourself forgiveness for mistakes, or compassion for the part of you that is hurting. It may be going for a walk, treating yourself to a fragrant bath or having a chat with an old friend. Whatever it is, when we love and take care of ourselves it inevitably serves everyone. Learning to experience pure love within you is the way forward to living a life of unconditional love. When your own heart is full it can't help but spill over to others.
